Why Crossways exists
Diana founded Crossways after years inside the care sector, watching the same pattern repeat: big rotas, rushed visits, and families never quite sure who would knock on the door. She believed a smaller, more personal way was not just kinder, it worked better.
So Crossways stayed deliberately local. Carers are recruited from the communities they serve, teams are kept small enough that everyone knows everyone, and visit plans are written around the person rather than the schedule.
The result is care that families describe as connection first: the same trusted faces, unhurried visits, and a team that treats every home with respect, because one day it could be their own family needing it.

After years working in care across the surrounding areas, she saw how much difference the small things make: the same familiar face, an unhurried visit, a carer who knows how you take your tea.
Today her team carries that standard into homes across the county. Every carer is chosen as much for character as for qualification, trained thoroughly, and backed by a leadership team that answers the phone.
